HØJSKOLESANGBOGEN
In the season 16/17 Momentum vol. 10 created the kamikaze project "Det Ny Kgl. Teater" (The New Royal Theatre). The four person ensemble led by Henrik Grimbäck created their own version of every piece The Royal Theatre in Copenhagen put up, thus creating more than a 1000 hours of theatre in seven months. Some of the pieces were big scale and others relying heavily on improvisation and the quality of rawness.
Højskolesangbogen was a satiric and dark theatre concert based on a book of danish songs that is corner stone of Danish culture. Dealing with the songs as a potential light in the darkness of our time and investegating the tiring and complex debate of the national feeling of Denmark.

HAMLETMACHINE
A visual and expressive staging of the violent text Hamletmachine by Heiner Müller put up by Robert Wilson's assistent director through 30 years. The show is like sleep walking through a nightmare of a person who is in the middle of translating Shakespeare's Hamlet to German. Which is what Heiner Müller was doing when he wrote it in the 70s.
